Introducing

Enrique Buelna’s journey into creating bold expressions of screenwriting and books.

He explores storytelling of Mexican American culture and identity at its core. Science fiction, fantasy, and adventure are his preferred genres, offering limitless creative possibilities and futuristic concepts. By integrating Brown experiences into these narratives, he expands the boundaries of representation, taking audiences to new worlds and perspectives.

Molded by his upbringing, navigating between American and Mexican cultures, Enrique learned early on the power of storytelling and history. Recognizing the impact of representation, especially in media, he is committed to bringing historical figures out of obscurity and onto the screen.

This book explores the early roots of the Chicano Movement, highlighting how Mexican American workers and activists used radical labor organizing to fight discrimination and injustice. Through the life of Ralph Cuarón, Enrique M. Buelna shows how socialist and communist ideas shaped struggles for social justice that influenced later civil rights movements.

Each piece is thoughtfully expressed and represented in a way that carries memory, movement, and meaning.
